Rain or Shine

I was privileged to photograph Kiersten and Travis 's wedding this past Saturday. They chose to get married at St. Joseph's Villa  in Richmond. It was the seconf time I had worked at St. Joseph's villa , I hope that I will get more opportunities to photograph weddings there in the near future.

I started the day photographing Kiersten at Hyatt Hotel . I had the chance to photograph fantastic moments as the bridal party did the preparations. It was a perfect morning to photograph Travis  getting ready for the wedding.

After the preparations were done. The wedding car, a fantastic Marquis Limo, dropped the bride off whilst Travis  waited inside the church, ready to see her for the first time in her dress. Friends and family looked on as Kiersten and Travis  exchanged rings in a fantastic ceremony at St. Joseph's villa . It's moments like this that make my job as a  wedding photographer so rewarding.

Kiersten and Travis  shared some photo moments with the guest after the ceremony before proceeding to the reception at Maymont. Laughter and love filled the air as more drinks were served. I was still on the lookout to catch fantastic moments on camera.

It is a delight to photograph Summer weddings. It was a overcast day, which made Kiersten and Travis  really happy, and really brought out the colors in the photographs.

The guests enjoyed a delicious wedding dinner and the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. You learn a lot about the wedding party during the speeches. During the evening the guests rocked the dance floor whilst the DJ Kay Lyke played the tunes and it was epic.

All in all I had a blast at Kiersten and Travis 's wedding and I wish them heartfelt congratulations.
